Eligibility Requirements:

The Candidate must...

a) Have been a contestant in the Miss Delaware USA or Miss Delaware Teen USA Pageant and placed as a Top Semi-Finalist, Top-5 Finalist or Winner.

b) Meet University admissions requirements.

c) Apply as (and remain continuously enrolled as) a full-time semester, undergraduate residential student in good academic and social standing (Teen specific criteria).

d) Apply as (and remain continuously enrolled as) a full time online or graduate student in good academic and social standing (Miss specific criteria). Part-time status will result in a credit hour percentage discount. (IE: $238 credit hour grant)

e) Be a new undergraduate resident, freshman or transfer student for the upcoming academic year, not previously contacted by Lindenwood University.

f) Complete a financial aid application or provide necessary information to assess eligibility for federal and/or state grants.  Any additional outside grants and scholarships will first replace the Lindenwood University grant/scholarship. Lindenwood University grants/scholarships may not be combined or stacked. Any additional institutional aid must be approved by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.

g) All grants/scholarships are subject to space availability.  These awards are based off the cost of attendance for the previous academic year. Candidates need to apply early.

h) All grants/scholarships awarded by Lindenwood are subject to students meeting the admission requirements set forth by the university and are not transferrable to other Lindenwood University campuses.

i) “Miss” scholarships are based on completion of all required credits taken at Lindenwood University.  Transfer credit is accepted, but may impact total grant/scholarship awarded.  “Miss” grants/scholarships do not carry a residential requirement therefore, room and board charges are not included.

j) Online courses have an additional 10% surcharge.
